Other winners included “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes” by Alvin Lee and a prize of SGD1,000 for the performance of Bopha Oul in “Further and Further Away.”
In addition to the short film award, the festival also holds a number of other competitions including an award for writers. This year’s competition saw 43 writers shortlisted in three different languages: English, Chinese and Malay.
