HK$20 million boosted in Triple Trio jackpot

The mark six lottery’s Chinese New Year raceday, which takes place on January 31 this year, has a boosted prize pool of HK$20 million. This means that a single winning unit can win HK$18 million, with the Quartet and First 4 Merged Pools also enhanced. There will be additional jackpots at seven more races throughout February as well.

HK$5 million extra prize money across 88 races

In a bid to attract more high-class horses and combat declining horse population structure, the Hong Kong Jockey Club has increased the total prize money of Group 1 to Griffin contests by nearly 90% for next season. This includes raising the minimum first prize from HK$5 million to HK$8 million. The Club has also lifted the Group 2 and 3 prize money pools to HK$5 million and HK$3.9 million respectively.
